Buddhist Studies in Latin America and Spain aims to illuminate recent advances in the field of Buddhist studies in Spanish-speaking academia, while promoting its development and international projection. This two-volume publication, the product of a fruitful collaboration between Rovira i Virgili University and the Dharma-Gaia Foundation, provides an interdisciplinary view of Buddhism in these contexts. The volumes explore this tradition from a variety of perspectives, including anthropology, philosophy, Buddhist studies, psychology, art and interreligious dialogue. This variety of approaches offers a broad and diverse overview of the presence of Buddhism in Spanish-speaking societies.
